The Oregon State Beavers clinched the CBI championship with a 81-73 victory over the UTEP Miners in Game 3 of the series Friday night.

Oregon State won the game as a 9-point underdog, while the 154 points sailed OVER the posted total of 133.5.

Ricky Claitt netted a game-high 28 points to lead Oregon State, and Lathen Wallace added 13 in the win.

Stefon Jackson led UTEP with 26 points, and Arnett Moultrie added 19 in the loss.
