NASHVILLE, Tenn.(AP) -- The Music City Bowl has extended its deal
with the Atlantic Coast Conference through the 2013 season.
Bowl officials announced the extension Thursday. The ACC has had
a deal with the Music City Bowl since 2006, and the bowl is set
to pick fifth after the BCS selection between 2010 and 2013. The
bowl's TV deal is set through 2014.
Commissioner John Swofford says Nashville is a terrific
destination for the league's teams and fans with the bowl a
great opportunity for the ACC.
This year's Music City Bowl is Dec. 27 and pits the ACC against
a Southeastern Conference team.
