NEW ORLEANS(AP) -- The New Orleans Bowl has signed four-year
contract extensions with Conference USA and the Sun Belt
Conference that run through the 2013 season.

The Sun Belt Conference champion has earned an invitation to the
New Orleans Bowl since 2001.

Conference USA first signed on to send a team to the December
game at the Louisiana Superdome in 2002.

This season's New Orleans Bowl will be played Dec. 20. Last
season, Southern Mississippi of Conference USA beat Troy 30-27.
