Lofton leads balanced Vols

Chris Lofton led the way with 20 points as all five starters scored in double figures as the Tennessee Volunteers dropped the Murray State Racers 89-64 at Thompson-Boling Arena on Friday.

The Volunteers managed to cover the 19-point spread at home, and the 153 points scored were OVER the posted total of 143.

Wayne Chism was next in line with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Dane Bradshaw and Duke Crews had 12 apiece for the Volunteers.

Tyler Holloway, Danero Thomas, and Marvin Williams all scored nine, while Rob Kennedy sunk eight for the Racers.
